mental health

Mental health encompasses emotional, psychological and social well-being influencing how we think feel and behave and is essential for overall health and quality of life.

If you have experienced social difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, communication struggles, stress or counselling, the 1-1 sessions are designed to meet individual needs. Sessions may focus on individual goals or a variety of needs that are explored, understood by a multi-faceted approach of strategies and techniques to enable people to grow in confidence, understanding and acceptance to foster a strong foundation for resilience, strength and a healthy mindset.

  • Anxiety/Stress -  Triggers, fears symptoms (physical & mental effects), tools and techniques to navigate coping strategies to successfully manage the impact of stress and anxiety

  • Education/Career Path -

  1. Identifying existing strengths and skills

  2. Highlighting areas of interest and enjoyment

  3. Areas to up-skill

  4. Education and Career Mapping

  5. The way forward → Plan to success/Goal Setting

  • Understanding Moods & Emotions -

  1. Understanding moods and emotions helps empower people to recognise and think about their emotions logically to become self-aware and to make positive and healthy life choices.

There are huge benefits to understanding moods and emotions to better equip children, young people and adults to manage relationships and daily life more ably and skilfully generally. Self-awareness and acceptance provides an understanding for clarity, motivation and a healthy life balance.

My role is to create a good rapport and safe environment to explore moods and emotions with  deep and meaningful conversations with a structured framework based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and positive psychology.

Being mindfully self-aware is a transformational process, discovering how our thoughts can become our realities - and we get to choose them.
